West Indies Vs England T/20 Cricket

The legendary battle is back, England complete there preparation for this year’s World Twenty20 tournament with three one-day internationals against the West Indies in Barbados this month.

The West Indies are sure to still be on a high after defeating Sri Lanka in there own back yard to be crowd the ICC World Twenty20 champions in last tournament back in 2012.  As you can expect there is a lot of hype surrounding the meeting of England & the Calypso Kings when they come to head at the the Kensington Oval in Barbados.  “These two powerhouse limited-overs teams possess some of the leading players in the world and the contests are sure to be entertaining and competitive in the very attractive 50-over and Twenty20 over formats,” said WICB cricket operations manager Roland Holder.

England’s record in the west Indies is poor having played 33 matches and won only 10, with just one series win out of 7.  But Stuart Broads side will see this as good preparation with this being the final leg of 6 competitive Twenty20 matches in the run up to the first round of the main event to be held in Bangladesh later this month.

The three-match Twenty20 series is to take place at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown over the dates of March 9th, 11th & 13th.  So get ready for what sure

to be a sun kissed festival of calypso cricket.
